The exclusive Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat, announced it will open on September 1st, 2011, making it the first property to become fully operational on Saadiyat Beach – the tourism hotspot of the island. Based on the luxury Monte-Carlo Beach on the French Riviera, the venue is now fully built and is set to offer its members a range of exclusive privileges.
Sofitel plans new luxury hotels in UAE
French luxury hotel chain Sofitel is planning to open three properties in the UAE by the end of next year and is in talks to manage a property on Saadiyat Island, The National has reported.

Serco wins bid to provide facilities management to NYU Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island campus
Serco Group plc (Serco), the international service company, announces today that it has been selected by Mubadala Infrastructure, a business unit of Mubadala Development Company PJSC (Mubadala), as the successful bidder for the long-term provision of facilities management services at New York University Abu Dhabi’s (NYUAD) main campus being built on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
